Meet the MBD Dad’s! All of the amazing fellows on this page are the profiles for our MBD dad’s and their Genetic Test results! These are the Poodle or Doodle Dads to our Bernedoodle and Goldendoodle puppies!
All of the boys, currently active in my breeding program, have had genetic testing and OFA or PennHip testing. We take puppy raising seriously and only choose the best of the best as parents! Only the healthiest boys and girls with the best Temperaments allowed!

While some of our Dad’s live in Guardian Homes, all of the “Magic” takes place, on-site, at Massachusetts Bernedoodles in Ashby, MA. Everything from Breeding to Puppy Raising to Pawrent & Puppy Training happens in Ashby, with my team of 8 employees. The Guardian Pawrents are placed in Guardian Homes after about 6 months -1 year of Stay, Play and Training. This is so they will always remember us and feel comfortable coming back vs. stressed in a “new environment”. Guardian Homes are the “home away from home” and will become their forever homes when they retire! Mom’s retire at 5 yrs old and Dad’s at 6 yrs, sooner if any complications arise. When Grandpuppies arrive, Guardians VISIT often! ❤️
Only the Healthiest Dogs with the Best Temperaments are Allowed to become “Pawrents” at MBD
Our genetic testing is done by Paw Print Genetics, GenSol and/or Embark. Our hips and elbows are either OFA or PennHip. In order be parents in our breeding program, they must pass their genetic testing and test either “good” or “excellent” with their OFA certifications or “Pass” the PennHip criteria. While health testing has improved greatly, just like with humans, it’s just not possible to test for every condition out there, unfortunately. However, we do have a health guarantee within the adoption contract.
A New Stud: Coming Soon, in 2027-2028….
“Hey, Jude” is new to MBD! As with any Breeding program, you have to introduce “new bloodlines” every so often. Hey Jude has the looks so far and we do anticipate he will pass his testing as well. I will post updates as he grows Big and Strong! For now, he will be getting tons of love, socialization & training at MBD University!
“Hey Jude” is a Small Mini F1bb Bernedoodle with Blue Eyes and wavy, Red Merle Hair! He’s projected to weigh 15-20lbs fully grown. Jude will be the Tiny Dad and Mini Dad too! He is 75% Poodle and 25% Bernese Mtn Dog and carries double furnishing genes, like a poodle. Long story short, that means all of his puppies will be Furnished/ Non Shedding, with wavy or curly Hair! Hey Jude, like Jerry (see below), is a Red Merle, but even better, he has Phantom caramel markings too! Hey Jude is THE ideal color “ingredient” for making absolutely stunning puppies! We can’t wait to see them.
MEET JACOB!
Jacob is one of our Toy Poodles! He’s the sire to some of our F1 & F1b Mini Bernedoodle litters! Jacob consistently produces healthy, beautiful puppies, many with blue or multi colored eyes! Jacob is a Blue Merle and white Toy Poodle so that take after dad will have Blue or Red Merle coloring/patterns!
Anytime you’re choosing a doodle breeder, it’s important to consider the temperament of the poodles. As poodles get smaller, they can become quite high strung, yippy and snippy! Definitely not traits we want to see in our puppies and definitely not Jacob, however! Jacob is calm, sweet, super smart and LOVES all of the people and all of the animals. I searched high and low for a Toy Poodle with Jacob’s amazing temperament. Many of his puppies have gone on to become Service Dogs and Emotional Support Animals!
MEET RIPPLE MURPHY!
Ripple Murphy’s playful spirit shines in the backyard, where he cleverly darts and dashes, outmaneuvering his buddies with ease. He embraces outdoor adventures, particularly enjoying summer visits to the nearby lake, playfully popping in and out of the water with other pups. This joyful and adaptable nature is a testament to his balanced temperament, making him a fantastic companion and an excellent example for his potential puppies.
Ripple thrives on interaction, eagerly engaging in playdates and happily greeting new people and dogs. His confident and friendly nature allows him to navigate any social setting with grace, ensuring he’ll pass on these valuable traits to his offspring. Our beloved boy, embodies the ideal temperament for a stud dog: confident, calm, friendly, and sociable. MEET GORDO!
Gordo is a 31lb Mini Bernedoodle! He is just the sweetest boy you could ever meet. If “cuddle bug” could be his middle name, if would be! This guy loves attention and affection. He will take lovin’s from whoever and whenever affection is available but especially his favorite human sister!
Gordo will be the dad for some of F2b Mini Bernedoodle litters beginning in 2025! We can’t wait to see these adorable Tri Colored Bernedoodle babies! Here are Gordo’s genetic test results!

Meet Trey Anastasio!
Trey is a Traditional Tri-Colored 45lb AKC registered (small) standard poodle! As you can see, not only is he’s stunning, he’s smart and knows “place”! He became a 1st time dad in 2023 and WOW does he make some beautiful babies! He has passed all of his health testing with flying colors and he is a very sweet boy. Trey is one of the dads for our F1 and F1b Bernedoodles!
“Trey guy is the sweetest, most mellow poodle I have ever met. He’s wonderful with children and other dogs and he’s so smart!” He will produce beautiful and very well tempered Tri-Colored F1 and F1b Bernedoodle Puppies!

Meet Hendrix!
Meet Hendrix!
Hendrix is a Toy Poodle and weighs 6 lbs! His colors and patterns are called “Phantom” meaning he’s black with brown markings on his face, legs, chest, ears and eyebrows! He has the funniest little personality and a childish way about him. You’d never know he’s a year old already!
When Hendrix isn’t busy playing with the other dogs, he likes to hang out and snuggle on the couch. He’s a couch potato!However, this little guy can keep up with the best of any hikers! He loves going for walks almost as much as he loves training! He’s so smart and he just wants to learn more and more! What he loves the most is playing with his giggle ball. It’s HILARIOUS! Meet Jerry Garcia!
Jerry Garcia is our 2 Year Old Mini F1bb Bernedoodle dad! He is a red/Chocolate Merle Tri Colored Mini with blue eyes! Jerry enjoys playing with kids, keeping up with the hustle and bustle of a busy family like a pro and even helps with the floor clean up after dinner! What a guy! He’s great on the leash and in the car too but mostly, Jerry is our CHILL dad. He loves relaxing lol
Jerry will produces absolutely gorgeous puppies with Calm, Sweet Temperaments. Some puppies will have blue eyes too!

MEET ASLAN!
Aslan is a Sable/Red Tri Colored F1bb Standard Bernedoodle! He’s a fluffy goofball and LOVES everyone. Aslan loves playing fetch, playing with his furry brother, going for car rides, having pupsicles and playing with the neighborhood dogs! He weighs 70lbs and will be the dad for our F2b, Non Shedding Standard Bernedoodles! With his genetics for DOUBLE FURNISHINGS, every puppy Aslan Sires will inherit the dominant gene for non shedding hair. Who doesn’t love a ginger? MEET VEDDER!
The newest member of the All Star Dad Team, “Hey Jude” is going to be a Rock Star starting in 2026 and Beyond! Hey Jude is named after The Beatles! Jude is a Traditional Red Merle, Small Mini /Micro F1bb Bernedoodle with wavy hair! At 20lbs, Hey Jude is the perfect size for our Mini and Tiny Bernedoodles, depending on how big Mom is! Jude is a southern gentlemen, VERY sweet and CALM, especially for a little guy… and exactly how we love them! CALM. He’s very snuggly and loves hanging out, just watching movies with me!
“Hey Jude” is playful and gets along with all the other dogs! There isn’t one dog he doesn’t like, even the boys. He’s easy-going for sure. Jude is happy to be doing whatever you’re doing. He’s very attentive to what I’m doing and always nearby, which will make it easy to teach him off leash recall! Jude is still a little guy but I’m betting he will enjoy going on many adventures! To the beach, playing fetch, playing with friends, snuggle time with his people and kayaking on The Lake! He’s the SWEETEST BOY EVER!
